Hussein Ghanem, M.D.
Dr. Ghanem is a consultant Andrologist (Men's Health) with an international experience. He graduated from Medical School, Cairo University, Egypt, and completed a 4 year residency/internship training program in Andrology, Sexology & Sexually Transmitted Diseases. He then travelled to the United States and trained as a fellow in Male Sexual Function, Reproduction, and Surgery, University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, Iowa, and later in Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas.

Dr. Ghanem obtained a doctorate degree (1990) in Andrology, Sexology and STDs, and accepted a faculty position as a Professor of Andrology & Sexology in Cairo University, Cairo, Egypt. During his work in the Middle East he introduced Andrology as a new specialty in Saudi Arabia and initiated 2 Andrology units that are currently being run by his trained colleagues. He also initiated and runs the Men's Health Clinic in Dar El Fouad Hospital, Cairo which is a state of the art hospital established in collaboration with Cleveland Clinic International.

Dr. Ghanem has published over 30 research articles - over the past 16 years - in various medical journals, mostly in the International Journal Of Impotence Research and the Journal of Sexual Medicine. He is also the principal investigator in the PADAM (Partial Androgen Deficiency in Aging Men) Middle East study.
