Tarek Anis, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Anis was born on the 15th of March 1958. He graduated from Kasr Al-Aini Medical School, Cairo University, and completed a 3 year residency/internship training program in Andrology, Sexology & Sexually Transmitted Diseases. He obtained a doctorate degree in 1991, and accepted a faculty position as a professor in Cairo University, Egypt. Additionally, Dr. Anis is the Senior Consulting Andrologist to the Nasser Institute of Health. He is also a co-founder and Senior Consulting Andrologist to the IVF center of the Women Medical Hospital. He also maintains an independent practice in Cairo, specializing in men’s health.

Dr. Anis is a reviewer for a variety of professional journals, including the Journal of Sexual Medicine, the International Journal of Impotence Research as well as the Middle East Fertility Journal. Dr. Anis is a widely published author of several articles that have appeared in the Journal of Sexual Medicine, International Journal of Andrology, as well as Current Sexual Health Reports. He has presented numerous papers at professional meetings, as well as having his work in sexuality education frequently featured in the media.

Currently, Dr. Anis is the chief editor of the Sexual Health Update, an international literature review service. Dr. Anis is currently the President of the Pan Arab Society of Sexual Medicine (PASSM), which includes members from 22 Arabic speaking nations.
